Devyn Itula is a producer, actor, and director based in New York City and Los Angeles. In May 2022, Devyn graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English with a minor in Managing Social Impact and the Public Good. Upon graduating, Devyn received the J. Robert Barth Award for demonstrated excellence in the arts, the sole receipt in the entire graduating class for her work as an actor, director, production manager, producer, and arts activist. In 2021, she attended the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in Watertown, Connecticut, where she was named a Miranda Family Fellow. During summer 2022, Devyn attended the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University in the United Kingdom, where she further honed her skills and training in movement, voice, Shakespeare, and modern texts.
Last year, Devyn was selected for the producing fellowship through the Black Theatre Coalition at Seaview and has gone on to support the office in their productions on Broadway, Off Broadway, West End, and on tour such as An Enemy of the People, Stereophonic, Romeo + Juliet, All In: Comedy About Love, Good Night, and Good Luck, and The Last Five Years.
In her leisure time, Devyn enjoys traveling to visit friends at home and abroad, cooking chicken at all times of day, and getting lost in a great (although sometimes overpriced) book.
