Adv/Int Commercial Jazz with Nicholas Palmquist

Artistic Directors, Choreographers, & Teachers from the concert stage, Broadway, television & film

Nicholas Palmquist is a New York based, freelance mover and move maker. He has danced commercially in America for Netflix/TV/Film, danced with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, and also with American Dance Machine for the 21st Century at the Joyce Theatre. Nicholas has choreographed for fashion events like Vogue’s CFDA Gala and go-go danced for Hermes at NYFW. The intersection of these different dance experiences lead him to a faculty position at Steps on Broadway for a number of years where he codified a unique relationship with musicality and stillness in dance. Nicholas has since taught masterclasses around the United States, in Russia, Japan, Paraguay, Brazil, Shanghai, Mexico, and now around Germany. He is currently working with Semperoper Ballet on a creation to premier this Fall in Dresden, Germany.
