Manna Nichols-Wong is a New York City based actor who grew up throughout the Midwest. She performed on Broadway in George Takei’s Allegiance, as Lea Salonga’s understudy. She also toured the country in the First National Tour of Lincoln Center's The King & I as Tuptim. In New York City and Off-Broadway she performed in City Center Encores! Dear World, appeared in and sang on the album of Tokio Confidential as Sachiko, and performed the role of Maria D'Avalos in Death for Five Voices. Other credits around the nation include My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle) at Arena Stage in Washington DC; The Music Man (Marian Paroo) at Arizona Theatre Company; Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (Natasha) at Theatre Raleigh; Austen's Pride (Jane Bennet) at The 5th Avenue in Seattle; Sense & Sensibility adapted by Kate Hamill (Marianne Dashwood) at Virginia Stage and Cape Playhouse; Guys & Dolls (Sarah Brown) at Goodspeed Opera House; South Pacific (Liat) at The Guthrie; Cinderella (Cinderella) at The Fulton; An American in Paris (Milo Davenport) at Cape Playhouse; Miss Saigon (Kim) in the Kansas City Starlight Tour, Walnut Street Theatre, and Fulton Theatre; The King & I (Tuptim) at Walnut Street Theatre and North Shore Music Theatre; Annie (Grace Farrell) at North Carolina Theatre; Hair (Crissy) at Geva Theatre, and Les Miserables (Eponine) at Pioneer Theatre and Maine State Music Theatre. Her film credits include Cold Pursuit (role of Minya) starring Liam Neeson, and Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast (background vocals). She is a proud union member of Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.

As an educator, Manna holds a Bachelor of Music in K-12 Music Education with a Choral Conducting Emphasis from Western Michigan University, and a Master of Music in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma City University. Manna is an SVI-Trained Vocologist through the Utah Center for Vocology at the University of Utah and the National Center for Voice and Speech, and is also a Pan American Vocology Association Recognized Vocologist (PAVA-RV). Additionally, she has completed Estill Level 1 Figures for Voice Control. As an Adjunct Voice Professor for NYU Tisch New Studio on Broadway, she teaches private voice, and has additionally taught music theory, sight-singing, singing for actors, and audition techniques. She has also taught various master classes at theaters across the country for Seattle 5th Avenue, Goodspeed Opera House, Franklin School of the Performing Arts, and many others. Manna studied piano throughout all of her schooling and played multiple instruments in the concert/marching/jazz bands and orchestras. She is passionate about making music literacy accessible to all students and constantly seeks out opportunities to pay it forward to the next generation of artists, including her volunteer work with OCUNYC as Director of Membership.
